Shrinking Fruit?

Has anyone else noticed that melons are now the size of large grapefruit? Yet being sold at the same prices as the larger versions were.

And apples all seem to be fun size? :think:

Noticed smaller melons in ASDA Saturday and smaller cauliflowers in Morrisons on Sunday.

I'd complain to the supermarket about it, I don't think we do it enough. For example, it's now really difficult to find garlic that isn't Chinese, often just one big bulb without individual cloves, small and bitter, whereas last year I could. Had to resort to Marks and Spencer to get non-Chinese

Got a water melon on Saturday from Tescos. Not the massive big things that they used to be instead it was not much bigger than the old style Gala.

I got a Gala melon at the weekend and, yes, it was just the size of a grapefruit. However, personally I always go for fun size bananas as they have less calories than the larger ones! And there is less waste when my DGDs want one and then leave half of it!
