Is it he manager he told that has been told to do an investigation and advised he should resign.
Probably to save his own neck.
Is there evidence that the manager was told and effectifly said OK by doing nothing?0 -

If there are redundancies in the pipe line then I wonder if they are trying to pre-emt that as well to save the redundancy money.
How many peopel are hitting their targets.
If they can give discounts anyway and this voucher was no more than would have been approved anyway then the date on the voucher is irelevent to the sale and actual helps with the sale, customer thinks they are getting a deal.
In commision based sales employers all know that dirty tricks are used to move staff on rather than make redundancie, I suspect that this will be easy to defend at interview as a technicality.
One option is to do what hte other person did and go over the head of the manager saying that they approved the sale(by doing nothing) rope them in and take them down or they will support the action.
Another is to say you will take the redundancy/CA and get out relatively clean with a bit of dosh.
Or fight it but looks like they want someone to go so unless the prospects are better if one goes it won't be long before the next is out on performance so going now might be the better option.0
