mortgage after bankruptcy

My husband and i were both declared bankrupt in may 2010 we were discharged in 2011. Recently my inlaws passed away leaving us with a sum of £20000 thatwe could use for a deposi on a housebut we are wondering who to approach about getting a mortgage can anyone advise please.

    Search the BR board and there is athread about obtaining a mortgage after BR.

    You will need a hefty deposit, 25% or more and your interest rate will most likely be higher.
