after 19 years i'm now in the position to pay of mortgage this week .
paid £57k in 93. had a under performing endowment to pay off 40k , after receiving last valuation i decided that the possibility of it returning a 5%+ growth or even 3% was unlikely . so with no prospects of the euro/greece /spain etc/ economic mess being sorted out i thought i may as well go for it
at present i've over paid £100 per month to leave me with £32k , to surrender the endowment will bring in £21k and over the years i've invested in various stocks+shares isa which even tho i have no financial knowledge have outperformed the returns of my endowment provider , especially one 250 tracker isa which has never been in negative growth throughout the current crisis .:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
