My Egg card's taking ages...

Is this normal? I applied for my egg money card nearly a month ago! I rang them a few weeks back and they told me it takes 10-15 working days to make the card. Then I rang back tonight and the guy just said 'they're looking in to the application and there is no indication how long this will take!'
Is this normal? It seems an aweful long time, and darn it, I wanna start spending. I got things to buy and stoozing to do!!!!!
