Mini chopper - what do you use yours for?

Hello all
I have a mini chopper. I use it for breadcrumbs - I whizz up left over bread and put it in the freezer ready for use. I also use it to chop onions and save my tears. I don't really use it for anything else. A couple of posts have made me think that others are using theirs for much more. Please let me know how you use yours so we can all get most use out of these little gadgets.

Curry pastes - Thai, Indian etc. Saves so much chopping! I also use it for chopping herbs, it's great if you have a glut of something and want to chop it for the freezer.0

As I’m cooking for one most of the time my mini-chopper is an essential piece of kit and the most used gadget in my kitchen – I use it for
Breadcrumbs
Pesto
Hummus
Baba Ganoush (Aubergine Dip)
Purees – tomatoes for a pasta sauce, fruit to go with my breakfast yoghurt/desserts or if I’m really lucky meringues
Burgers – pulsing my own combination of meats (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, bacon)Jan - May Grocery spends = £432.47
Jun - Grocery spends = £99.140 -
Curry paste
Hummous
Blending nuts - I don't buy ground almonds, just blitz them when I need
Dips (e.g. roasted red pepper and walnut dip or guacamole...yum)
Blitzing beetroot to go in my beetballs
Onions and garlic if I have to do a lot/am feeling lazy
Sometimes tahini based salad dressings0 -
I don't really like chunks of onion in lasagne and similar, but love the taste, so I use mine to whizz up onion to a pulp!
Also good for breadcrumbs
I love mine. It's so easy to use and (most importantly) to wash afterwards0 -
Thanks all. Some great ideas and I really appreciate you taking the time to write them down. I agree with Millie2008 about how easy it is to use and wash up afterwards. I love the ideas about using it for curry pastes, hommous, pesto, nuts, dips and am going to get more creative with mine. I am probably going to make some hommous tomorrow! Has anyone done cheese with it? If not I will have an experiment and let you know how it goes.0

Thanks for this post. I've been thinking that I should use mine more, so welcome all ideas. I read on this forum about preserving garlic in oil and freezing it. So the the next time I buy one of those nets containing 3 bulbs I'm going to try that. The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
