Kenwood Chef A901 Speed Control problem.

Hi all,

My trusty Kenwood chef has given me a problem! It seems the speed control knob has come loose from the machine. The Dial hasn't touched the machine for as long as I can remember but it seems to have come completely loose now. Anyone know how to fix this? Without the cost of sending her away?

Thank you x

If you carefully prise the kenwood logo badge off the speed knob, there should be a little black pin that holds the knob on. It's possible this has broken or come loose. It shouldn't cost more than a few quid to replace and you can do it yourself, it pushes straight on.

    Thank you for your help.

Is there any special way to get the logo adage got? I will try it tomorrow when I'm back home :)

A flat headed screwdriver on one side of the badge will do the job, just be very careful and gentle!
