It might be possible to get a mortgage in your name only if you are not financially linked, but obviously it would impact on the amount of mortgage you would get. Might be worth speaking to a financial advisor about?

Also remember that plenty of people have families without owning a house - it's a blow to your plans of course but don't think that you have to scrap everything!
    Savings target: £25000/£25000

Thank you, but we have a joint savings account for our house deposit so we're already financially linked.

You don't need the pin, you just need your email address.

We've gone through that, but after you submit your email you then have to remember security answers and a PIN. Thanks any way.

Credit companies push on to people who's names have been used that they need to call the police, this helps them gain joinder with the victim and the debt as it forms acceptance in the eyes of the person who's name has been used.
The truth of the situation is if someone takes out credit in your name, the company that gave the credit is the victim of the crime, not the person who's name was used and you should stick to your legal rights and bounce such things straight back to the lenders.
Make them produce proof, signatures, bank accounts linked.
Then make a sworn affidavit at a solicitors that this is not you, send it back and tell THEM to call the police, they are the victim, not you.
