Nationwide MPPI Claim Dismissed

Hi All
I recently submitted a claim for being missold MPPI by one of their advisers.
My main reasons for this is that unemployment cover was not included as this was my prime aim for wanting to take this out. Instead I ended up with sickness, accident and critical illness. I only found out when I booked a review and was advised that I did not have the cover I initially requested.
I was entitled to 6 months full pay, 6 at half pay, death in service benefits plus access to pension due to ill health. In addition to this I have life insurances that would have paid off my mortgage. I still have ebtitlement to these benefits,
I took MPPI out only on my second mortgage.
I have recently cancelled the policy and taken out a policy that will offer unemployment cover.
The policy was taken out in 2004, I had a review in 2007 where thae adviser stated that I had motygage protection cover in place, and then goes onto advise me about Crital illness cover.
I have the advisers typed notes of the conversation that took place.
Is it worth appealing or going to the FOS
The rejection letter mentions that I did not take out MMPI on my orginal mortgage in 1991, what they failed to note was that mortgage was in joint names and based on one salary
Thanks

So, you are saying this was an advised case and not a sold case? (difference in documentation will exist if that is the case)I was entitled to 6 months full pay, 6 at half pay, death in service benefits plus access to pension due to ill health.
That would explain why a PHI policy was put in place instead. Is it worth appealing or going to the FOS
You havent given any indication of wrong doing. The recommended products appear to match your needs. So, what is it that you believe you have a case on?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). if you had it, you would be complaining you had it0
