CCJ when abroad

My husband has left the country but his previous address has received a letter saying he has a CCJ awarded against him for £1400.
What can they do to him if he refuses to pay as he is outside Europe?
Can they take money out of his UK bank account if they don't have the details?

Can they apply to the courts for a third party order and what are the chances? How long would this all take, stressing me out0

As long as the know the bank the account is with, then I think in theory they could. Unlikely though.
Plus, if the account is in joint names I think they are blocked from that option.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
