With the resale tickets, they won't go on sale again immediately. THey will wait until they have sufficient numbers of tickets for that particular sport and then do a short notice sale, like they did last week. THe official email about the sale was only sent out about 6 hours after the tickets went on sale at 7:00am so keep a look out on Facebook/Twitter for prior warning. I foud out about the sale last week by following a BBC journalist I'd never heard of before! He posted the previous evening so was readt when the clock hit 7:00 the next morning. Tickets for the 5/6 events were available at most price bands including finals tickets.
  • Have returned my unwanted tickets - seats hadn't been allocated so clearly tickets hadn't been printed, let alone posted to me, yet they have held on to the £6 delivery charge...that can't be right can it?

For some people it is just too late to think about the games.

Accommodation is either expensive or not-available, so they have got other plans for the summer.

And considering some of the sponsors are finding it hard to get rid of tickets (some have even given some back), its going to be tough if you wanted your money back. Just "sell" them to a 'friend' if you can't go.
  • wdyw, are you able to pm me details of the bbc journalist you followed to find out about the release?

I am in the annoying position of being a new mother who can't take their baby with them without somehow procuring her a ticket, despite the fact that she won't be using a seat and wasn,t conceived when I originally bought tickets! (They did relax the babe in arms rule but not for our event-gymnastics on the 29th july)So I need to be on the ball or we won't be able to go after all.
