    That'll be the one.
I doubt there'll be anything free but, since I'm new and as per my post, I didn't know where to post this!

Had trhe misfortune to shop there yesterday. Waited 40 mins to pay for a £50 pair of ordinary shorts, then finally walked out.

Rang their US Customer Service number this morning, explained the shocking experience yesterday, she has agreed to send me the shorts I want and waive the £11 delivery charge.

THe problem with the UK branch is that they think they can get away with treating their customers like idiots. THey think a 40 minute wait to pay hypes their brand and increases the desirability of their clothes-well, we have an awful lot to learn from the US

The reason A&F is so successful in th US is because they combine great clothes with a superb customer experience-if they UK want to replicate that they have some learning to do.

Unfortunatly the prices here are a lot more expensive than the US around twice the price so its worth getting it from the US on a trip whereever possible.

I hear they are highly discriminatory in their practices, i.e. if you're not a glamour model, a but chubby or have a zit on your face they'll give you the silent "you don't belong here, ugly" treatment.

They did the same for their staff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abercrombie_&_Fitch#Employment_practices

Seems like they kept the white staff members at the front where the customer would face them, and the other ethnicities at the back doing the sorting and mundane work. How nice of them!
