we've been declared today!

Well me and the husband went to court this morning and after handing over 1400 we were declared br!!! Now I just feel incredibly deflated and flat broke!!!

We had a chat with the or who seemed nice, just have to wait for our telephone interviews in a week now!

  • I don't think the relief will set in until I know my house is ok! It is just tettering on negative equity at the minute, I just wish they would deal with it sooner than 2 years!

    it would prob have to be in positive equity by a fair amount for the OR to have any interest in it as fees to sell it would have to be taken into consideration
  • He told me if its over 2k then they would offer us the opportunity to buy it back but how the bloody hell do they expect u to save up when they take all disposable income!

    Because of the allowances in the average SOA are anything to go by, the allowances for food etc are far beyond what you'd actually spend. So savings, holidays, sky tv are all possible.

  • It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I dreamt last night we would get ambushed lol but that certainly wasn't the case.
