The most useful has to be our brand new crockery - we had a mis-matched bunch of stuff before hand, and now we have lovely, but suitable for everyday use, Denby.
I love our slow cooker & Le Cruset Pans too.0 -
We didn't really get anything useful as such. A set of Mr and Mrs cups which we do use, and 2 cross stiches in frames that 2 people did for us and theyre now on the wall

Lots of useful presents. Slow cooker, pressure cooker, ottoman bed, twin-tub washing machine and duvet and bedding.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

A set of sabatier knives and a set of john lewis saucepans (bought individually by a couple of different guests to make up the full set). 12 years later we use both of these every day.0

I think our Denby set was the most useful as well. It was also the most picked thing off our wedding list so we have loads of Denby stuff.0 -

We didn't get any useful presents as such... we had asked for money though so thats fine.
Set of Mr and Mrs mugs - only thing we use regularly...
2 photo frames are sat lying around
I did get a nice bit of art from my cousin which was personalised with our names, date of wedding and a lit thoughtful poem, but its in neon pink and doesn't go in with the decor anyway
Edit: too add to this presents which i'll either never use or no thought went into them -
A cheap 5 * 7 photo album
4 bottles of bubbly
a helium balloon
We were very similar, - we love our Mr & Mrs mugs (M&S ones),
Will never use the Mr & Mrs luggage tags (didn't have a honeymoon and in the 11 years we've been together have never been on holiday together)!
Got a couple of bottles of bubbly (even though we never drink the stuff), took 1 to a friends house warming and it was OK the other was vile and got chucked!
A couple of giant lollipops - I'm diabetic, OH doesn't eat sweets (only chocolate) and we don't have kids!
Luckily didn't get any picture frames or albums! Did get some posh toiletries, but I need to use them, not just keep them as they are so lovely!

Should say the money we were given as presents went towards very practical things including...
A new TV as our old one was about 8 years old and on it's last legs.
A matching kettle, toaster & microwave (though sadly the microwave broke and they didn't have a replacement).
Bed sheets.
A toilet seat! :rotfl:A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Not quite classed as "useful" but we were given a Country weekend away. It expires in 12 months, so would be a fantastic gift to use for our 1 year anniversary. A thoughful and cool gift. Not so useful, but something we are both going to appreciate.Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!0
