Help needed Bailiffs coming

This is my first post and I am desperate for some advice. I was taken to court last year for not having a TV licence and made a payment arrangement with the court as I am a single Mum of 2 children. However in Autumn of last year I suffered some mental health issues and my 2 children went to stay with their Auntie. To cut a long story short as I don't want to go into detail, I only had 1 of my daughters back, and tried to catch up with bills I had not been paying. However 3 days ago a bailiff turned up and wanted £550 there and then and really wouldn't take no for an answer and said he'd be back for the cash or would take all my stuff. I am on Income Support, and dont have this money to give him. What do I do? I know I am at fault as I should've paid my bills but I have already explained my dilemma

Firstly what is the £550 for? They cant force entry if you let them in then theyve got a foot in the door so to speak who are they working for?0

It is for a CCJ for my TV licence and I failed to keep up the payments. All the Bailiff gave me was a sheet of printed out paper with his company details on (Marston Group) and a breakdown of how much he wanted which was £250 debt + £85 admin fee + 215 for attending making a total of £550. Also the 215 will be added each time he attends my house0

Get onto CAB first thing in morning and see where you stand CCJs do not go away and it seems its finally caught up with you however i would question the fees etcgood luck be thinking of you weve all done silly things me included0

this is not a CCJ its a magistrate court fine
did you receive a further steps notice form the court before bailiffs came
did you receive a letter from rhossendales before the bailiff came
unfortunately the fees are correct however i believe no further fees can be added regardless of how many more times he visits
as a single parent on benefits you should be classed as vulnerable

don't phone the court go to the court and ask for a means hearing ask for payments to be deducted from benefit's
and don't answer the door to the bailiff regardless of what he says to youI am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites
If you are in any doubt please seek legal/expert advice help0
