Mortgage Application Issue

Hi all,
Hoping for some help / insights.
My girlfriend and I have just had an offer accepted on a house and are currently in the process of applying for a mortgage.
As a pre-empt my Experian score is 999 and hers 975. No loans, no missed payments on credit cards etc, only one current credit card open between the two of us. 10% deposit.
We have a mortgage advisor on the case, but when he's putting through our application online with one particular provider (as a test, rather than an application that hits our credit rating) it's coming up that our address has failed / been rejected.
Our address is correct, and whilst a flat with a history of address issues (spanning 2 streets and 2 postcodes) what we have on experian and equifax matches what we have on the electoral roll.
Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? Could it be the order the address is laid out in? If we have bank statements going to one variation of the address, and electoral roll registered to another could this be an issue?
Thanks in advance,
Dave and Cal

Flats are notorious for address errors as there is no standard address system, often the same flat could be known as "top floor", flat 1. 1a etc, your broker should know this, and needs to amend the data until it recognises you, the search has already been done, so will not register as further searches.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks for the replies both.
We did indeed move to another advisor and the address problem seems now to be less of an issue. We've had an agreement in principal and are now just awaiting the official application.
Wh05 if you read this, do you deal with Nationwide at all?0
