First wedding anniversary gift?

I am completely bewildered. Hubby definitely doestn want a watch or a clock.....
i'm of the opinion its paper anyway and was thinking of making a book on mylovebook.com or buying a kindle (which i'm not sure he'd use....can you download magazines?)

Does anyone else have any ideas? Needs to be under £110 as thats all i have x
I have until 11th July to get something.

  • im already plnning our first anniversary even tho its ages away and its def going to be paper related lol. our sentiment is anniversary gifts ( we celebrate our first got together & wedding) dont have to be extravagant but romantic. so i would go with something like putting a romantic notification in local paper, writing a love letter (cheesy i know!), having one of them moonpig style personalised papers made for him? and i would prob buy some aftershave or something he likes to go with it. we are also going to buy together on our first anniversary as a gift for us a cookbook (paper)

It is paper for the first. Is he into music or sport - if so could you get him tickets for an event?

tickets for concerts are out at the moment as i'm pregnant so anything for this year is no good. we just got back from coldplay 2 weeks ago and i was pooped!

Did you get a wedding photo album when you married? We couldn't stretch to it, so are planning it as our gift to each other for our first anniversary.

If you just want a token paper effort - how about some Ann Summers love cheques? ;)

For Valentine's Day a few years ago I did OH a book detailing everything we had done up to that point holidays, concerts, getting our animals & some other stuff. I included lyrics to songs we love ect he loved so I think stick with your lovebook idea as it sounds perfect

But then so do the Ann Summers cheque book ;-)

Off to look at the love cheques as i'm sure he'd like something like that too. I've been a grumpy frigid pregnant lady for almost 4 months now lol

    It's our 1st Anniversary today.
OH isn't very material, so I'm not getting him anything, but we celebrated over the weekend at our favourite festival in Barcelona. The memories are worth more than a gift to us.
