Guys can i just warn you all....a 3 star caravan is a basic caravan and can be up to 7 years old. There is no heating apart from a gas fire in the lounge and depending on the time of year with caravans not being the most insulated of accomodation, this can get pretty chilly. Another thing to look out for is they may have 1000 caravans on site of all different specifications, but sell them all as 3 star ones, which means there are plenty of free upgrades out there, so be careful if someone calls you to upgrade for a small fee, chances are you will be sitting in one of the upgrades anyway and they just want to recoup their money. (i did this on many occasions when i worked for them and usually if i got an older couple or a young family i told them to save their money as they had been given a free upgrade anyways)0

They give you entrance to the funworks complex which houses the bars, restaurants, arcade, kids clubs, and swimming pools. You can only usually get to the outdoor play area through the complex too so without them your kids can't even play on the swings0 -

Yes, it's a good tip, not amany reps would tell you. always go look at what you've been allocated first, then ask about an upgrade if you don't like it.0 -
I'm not a rep. I was a customer care manager, but a very bad one cause i had a conscience0

We always take a cheap electric fan heater with us on holiday at this time of year anyway as it's the bedroom which are coldest at night."As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns; The ones we don't know we don't know."

Will keep trying.
Anyone know if Presthaven Sands is on the list?0 -
Just wanted to thank OP so much - have been needing a short break for ages and this has come at just the right time - few days away on my birthday as well! Can't believe it....
Thanks again.0 -
Just got through and been told all the holidays have gone and it was on a first come first served basis. Never a mention of dates or parks.
Thanks anyway OP.0 -
Just got off phone (they did call back!) and am going to Hopton on 16th April.
I had to pay an additional £10 for an extra room, 6 of us and a baby and £20 refundable deposit.
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0
