False information on Equifax report - will this affect me as FTB?

Hi
I was hoping for some assistance in relation to incorrect information on my Equifax report.
I recently wrote to them advising them they had been updating my credit file with over 12 entries of another individual who i shall call Mrs X.
The informed me that they would not remove 2 bits of information.
1.The electoral role information, due to our names being to similar (We share the first initial and have the same surname). The electoral role shows her full name and her DOB, and years at the address (1983-2012).
I was born in 1984! So my understanding is that this entry is completely incorrect and should be taken off! I am also slightly concerned that they may start re-allocating Mrs X’s data back against my name due to this showing on my report! I am also unsure whether this may cause issues with me taking credit out due to that current record showing on my account which just does not correlate to anything about me?
2. I am a FTB – looking to start the mortgage process in January. Equifax also have inserted a ‘Property Valuation ‘onto my file showing Mrs X’s deed date, price paid, property date, and tenure, which was produced by the land registry. Does this now mean i will not be regarded as a FTB due to this entry?
Neither Experian nor Callcredit show these two entries and i am immensely concerned this false information on my file will impact on me gaining a mortgage as a FTB or further credit.
I am in the process of writing to them to ask the above but would like further views on the matter. Apologies if this is not the correct forum, i would be very grateful for any input. If you need further clarification please ask.
TIA (Thanks in advance)

There is an Equifax Representative who answers questions on MSE. If there is a serious problem with your file then alert Equifax without delay.
Escalate to Citizens Advice or your MP if your requests fall on deaf ears.
