Letter from the halifax

Halifax have rung 3 times to speak with oh always when he is at work. Weve been paying them on a dmp since 2008 and today have received a letter stating that our account is out of balance and if we are unable to pay the full sum then their client (this is their solicitors)may be prepared to accept a reduced sum togetherwith realistic proposals for regular mobthly payments. I am confused.

I'd write to them and ask what they are wittering about, that you are on a DMP and will continue to be. Perhaps you are due a review of the payment you are making, but if so I would expect the letter to say that.... Also I'd tell them that you will only communicate in writing in future, to cease all calls to the house.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0
