I think this is the thread jertzy is referring to, and he may have got the one from Argos which isn't available any more AFAIK. I've got them at work and am very happy, but for home I'm still waiting for the Novatech 3 handset offer, which went out of stock but they're hoping to get more in ... Older phones but they should do what I want at home if they ever arrive!

above have a Philips Onis Vox 300 Digital Cordless Telephone was £99.99
now £31.98 looks a nice phone with all the things you need on it!

however postage is £5.99 I think, when I bought from this company a while ago, I ordered things for a friend too and we went halfs on the postage!

    Thanks people,

I have seen the Philips Onix Vox 300 on Ebay listed as "BUY IT NOW" for £20. Appears that these are refurbished phones but carry a 12 month warranty. Anyone had any experience with these? A company called IXTL. Total price on EBAY = £26.

I've just bought from the BT Freestyle 4500 from their website. It's one of the few that has digi, answer machine, handsfree, sms and cordless! It came with one extra handset but u can get others ie. kitchen-friendly: easy wipe clean and bedroom-friendly: glows in the dark etc. Operates more like a mobile, gd nos. storage capacity, groups and different ringtones, games etc.

I'm really pleased with it, I paid about 90 pounds I think a couple of months ago (I think it was on offer) and tried shopping around but didn't find a better price at the time.
