Wed 13th June What small DFW things will you do today ?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!

LPP we don't have Aldi here:( but I do find it much cheaper than the supermarkets and the quality is much better too, especially with the potatoes. I'm assuming they are much fresher. I love going to it. Sometimes with shifts I have to miss it though. There is also a man who sells cheap tinfoil etc and the quality of that is amazing. I stock up on that every few months;)100 Day Pot £13

I'm so sorry guys but I have to share my awful last hour with you all. If you have a sensitive stomach move on please!
Finished work (packed lunch, so far so good). DH negotiated his contract with orange, saving £16 per month (feeling really chuffed at this point). Then ..
Drove down to the big park near us with the dog so he could have a decent walk before I picked up the kids. Bent over to pick up his deposit, don't know how, got some in my fringe :eek:. Oh god the smell! 20 minutes back to the car, got in, turned the key, nothing. Had to walk home, all uphill, hoping the hair accessory wasn't too obvious.
So, think it's probably the battery but this car is on it's last legs and I have been desperately saving to get another when mot is due in sept. DH has a much smaller car, this is the only one we can get the dog in. Now I understand about emergency funds!:o
Sorry I had to off load, thanks for reading! Cup of tea and lidl choc is making things a bit better (that and washing my hair :rotfl::rotfl:).Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
