Lloyds Pharmacy Allergy Reliever - online saving?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum so apologies if this has been posted before or I've posted it in the wrong forum.
I've recently heard of a hayfever-relieving gadget that I'd never heard of before, and knowing the misery hayfever can cause in the summer months I thought I'd share in case there are others who don't know of it. Also the link is for Lloyds' 'online price' which may represent a saving although I don't know how much it differs from their in-store price.
From what I can gather there are two prongs with infra red lights which you put up your nose a couple of times a day which somehow stop the histamine which causes the symptoms (and also 'make you look like Rudolph' according to my friend!). Apparently it typically needs to be used for 1-2 weeks before any results but people I've spoken to who had previously tried every other treatment imaginable have found it completely relieves their symptoms and has stopped the need for any tablets/nose sprays at all, plus most of the reviews on Lloyds' page are very favourable. Also, it's accredited by Allergy UK and hopefully they wouldn't put their name to something that's a total placebo!
Might not work for everyone but thought I'd share anyway!
Tried to post the link but as a new user I'm not allowed to, however if you go to the Lloyds Pharmacy website and search 'allergy reliever' it's easy to find.

I bought this gadget a couple of years ago,as it seemed a more prefferable method to sprays or pills, but unfortunately....it did zilch for me!!!
May work for others, who knows, but I wouldn't recommend it....be very MSE and save your pennies!!:D

I'd never have said I suffered from hayfever, but having become surgically attached to a box of tissues for the last couple of days I realised that it could possibly be that rather than a summer cold.
And I remembered that I'd bought one of these devices for DS1 who definitely does get hayfever. Only he never used it.
So I dug it out, tried it, and ... it's absolutely magic! I've only used it 4-5 times but it has definitely helped. I feel almost human again.
Currently on offer, which must happen regularly as I wouldn't have shelled out full price for it, knowing that DS1 was unlikely to try it.
If there's more than one of you suffering in the same household, you can also get extra probes.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Does it help stop the sore itchy eyes you suffer when you have hayfever.0

Having said that, my eyes were very 'weepy' and I was constantly dabbing at them, now they are not. So I think it does help.
Like I said, I'd never have paid full price for it, but it does seem to be working!!!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Does for me
I can't praise this gadget highly enough! Its helped with my runny nose, itchy eyes and ears and sore throat, although its not as effective as it was the first season I used it (3 summers ago), when it stoped EVERY symptom dead after 1 days use, its still keeping symptoms under control. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0
