I love the quality of products from Lakeland and their customer service is fab. It may seem expensive to some people, but their products are well made and last

I agree especially with their bakeware! I was disappointed with one item once and reviewed it and the customer service response was fantastic and more than made up for it.

Although I do tend to mostly shop when I can get something when it is on offer.

I agree that the customer service is excellent. I had a step stool that broke (the plastic split) after 3 years of use. I contacted them about replacement parts but as soon as they verified my purchase they sent me a replacement stool free of charge.

Regarding price they do charge more for some items but others can be comparable with other shops & you have the benefit of good customer service. I use Lakeland after shopping around first. I have got some really good deals in the sale or in their reduced section.
  • Lakeland are 'expensive' for a reason - their CS puts even John Lewis to shame! Our 3.5 year old Remoska broke a few weeks ago so like the poster above I rang to see if they sold spare parts (my FIL is an electrical engineer!). Straight away they said they would replace it totally free of charge and a brand new one turned up by courier the very next day. They also had the broken one returned to them at their expense. Unbelievably good CS.

As above the one thing they do is the best customer service of any company I have heard of, so you need to weigh that in when you are looking at prices.

I had some of those microwave pans with lids, I think they were on offer at buy on get one free. Now L was charging £6.99 I think (so £6.99 and £3.49 for the 2). In my local pound stretcher was somthing simular for £1.99 (no lid). But when 2 years later bopth pans were stained and one just cracked from normal use-I don't even have a dishwasher so washed by hand. They were brill offered either a replacement or a full refund plus to keep the one I had left.

Opted for the refund and had the money within days.

I have ordered 2 of the plastic fold up step things. I already have 2 and they are in constant use for me, being too short to reach most of my cupboards!

They now have about £5 off and are being discontinued so I am getting more to last me hopefully forever - cheaper ones just are not as good (sharper plastic, flimsy in comparison and not as steady) great for little seats for kids too:)

as others have said - customer service is second to none I have ever had to contact. They sent me a wrong item once and when I phoned they told me to keep them for free and they sent out correct item same day (t towel pack worth £6.99) Plastic underbed boxes were damaged in transit and they replaced immediately too
