Yeah I know, we're limited to £499 a month until it goes onto the svr. However virtually all of our deposit sits in 2 isas at 3.3% so it's not too bad. I'd rather not tie the money into the house, as at least if it came down to it we could put down a deposit on a new place without needing to sell my house to unlock the cash.0
