co-op mortgage on flat above commercial

co op have just told me they dont lend on a flat above an office .I am putting down 40% earn 35k per annum good credit rating and flat is in a very desirable part of town -mortgae broker underneath !-been customer for 20 years .Where can I go for a mortgage any help much appreciated .

Why not have a chat with the broker underneath? He will know the area well and should know where is best for you.
Are there any other commercial properties in the block?
