Grants, government loans help

I'm looking to do a personal trainer course, however the fees are expensive and I'm currently on job seekers allowance I know the companys don't directly offer funding I was wondering if there was any schemes that was out there that could help me.

Best people to speak to are Next Step who can advise on careers & training. When you say personal trainer, I assume you mean fitness and not tutoring or teaching type training? You could contact your local College that offers sports related courses and ask whether they have funding available for this course. Skills Active are the Sector Skills Council for Sport & related areas so it may be worth contacting them to find out which courses you would needm their website is http://www.skillsactive.com/ . A sector skills council is the body that ensures the qualifications offered by providers are relevant to the sector.0
