Fed up!

How did we get into such a mess & have credit cards loans and overdrafts?

We took out a 5 year plan and I hope to have got rid of everything by Dec 2013.
But im getting fed up now of budgeting budgeting and trying to stay on top. I have managed to stay out of my overdraft for 3 years this year but theres still 1.5 years to go. We have loans totalling £460 thats such a lot of money makes me think how bloody stupid were we! Id love that money to book a nice holiday, just have extra cash, whatever.
Sooo fed up today!!! How can you stay in the red when living is so expensive?

Sorry to hear you are having a rough day, but it sounds like you have come a long way already! Just think you are over halfway to being debt free already :)

Something that helps me is remembering how afraid I was to even think about debt when it was at it's worst - I was a definite head-in-the-sand person! I never want to be that way again! Once that debt is paid off you can put all that extra money into the things you enjoy :)

Have you posted your SOA, been to the old style or money making boards etc. to see if you can get any more advice about your situation? Maybe there are changes you could make to ease things a little or pay things off quicker.

    Excellent advice above :)

We live on a fairly tight budget (but this is self imposed rather than a nessecity) and sometimes I do get fed up of never doing anything or spending anything. I then remind myself of why we're doing this - imagine how amazing you will feel when all the debt is paid off, and your money is yours to do with what you like every month? :)

Keep going, you can do this :)
