Hi there...:)
Just thought that I would share my experience with you. After a few sleepless nights worrying about this, after approx 45 mins on the phone this phone today...its over...phew!!
I sat patiently looking from phone to clock and back for 15 minutes beforehand, with paperwork in front of me....then it rang!!
After an introduction and a brief explanation as to what the phone call would consist of, it was no where near as bad as I had imagined. The lady I spoke with was very nice, and we exchanged in a bit of chit chat too. She offered me advice, fully explained anything I wasnt sure of and went through my SOA, just going over what I had written.
I am very lucky, can keep my basic bank account (which the bank agreed to), my car (an old banger), and my house!!! (sooooo pleased
) there is negative equity in it at the mo, and it will be re-looked at in 3 years time.
So...thats it!!! A letter in the post to confirm everything, and if any creditors get in touch, to refer them to my case worker
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and can finally sleep at night without the worry of what the postman will bring, or who the next phone call might be from.
Anyone that is waiting to have their interview, like I was re-assured, it really is nothing to worry about. Good luck to everyone on here that is going through this stressful time...and thank you to everyone for your support and advice...
Think I deserve a little glass of wine :j
