Anyone have any recent experience of having their drains jetted to clear a blockage? Any recommendations and cost would be greatly appreciated.

We used Drainaway Environmental Services for our drains twice (0800 019 0410). They charge £60.

I got a guy to do ours last month, it was £50.

got him from gumtree, and he knew what he was doing.

Caustic Soda is great if it's not too bad-

I did have to get the drain cleared last year though but not as cheap as the figures quoted here- I think it was £80 but that covered the camera down the drain.

Ours turned out to be face wipes blocking the runaway ( exit from property!) pipe. I'm sure that's not the right name but you get the idea!

My neighbour bought the rods and did his himself.
Not pleasant but an easy job once the cover is lifted ( he says). Goodluck!

Hired a set of rods from Balloo Hire for less than a fiver and did the job myself.
