rang jacobs bailiffs regarding moving my payment date from the 17th of the month to the 28th month i had previously agreed to pay 4 payments of £182 a month to clear the debt paid one payment of £182 before due date last month may 2012 unable to make junes date so rang them they agreed to change the date to the 28th june but make a payment of £237 then carry on with the last 2 payments £182 for 28th july and august where do they get the extra from asked never got a proper reply just pay it was the answer is this legal any help on this would be much appreciated .. thanks

prob admin fee which in my view is unreasonable but they have to give you a clear reason for extra payment they can't just say pay it challenge them say you want in writing a breakdown of the charge and the reason for the charge not so sure where you would escalate your complaint financial ombudsman maybe or go to your local cab service i'm a little green in this area but total wrong to charge you extra without a valid reason, hope i can have of some help
