Bankrupt in March

Hi all,

I declared myself bankrupt in March. All went smoothly. Had to pay an additonal £500 towards keeping my car. Didnt hear anything from Moonbever until late May and have made my first payment of £599 this month. They have said this will be for 3 years.

The OR (who was amazingly friendly and easy to get on with) has already said they no longer have an interest in my bank account.

A few questions which I think I know the answer too but would like confirming if you would be so kind!

Will I definately have to pay the £599 for the next 35 months to Moonbever?
I have a couple of hundred pounds left in my account at the end of every month which is "surplus". Should I run my account to zero at the end of the month in case the OR takes the remaining money to pay back monies owed? Or is Moonbever likely to take this money if it is left there?

Hope this makes sense and thanks for taking the time to reply!

Hi Westan, yes they will take £599 for the next 35 months!! But remember if your wage goes down or expenses increase and you have the receipts to prove this you can fill in a new income and expenses form too.

You can save and Moonbeaver won't touch this, unless you start saving thousands......which won't be the case eh!!

It does make sense and sorry your IPA is so much but looking on the bright side at least you have some money to save now

    Best wishes
