This shows your entire list of Subscribed posts where you can..

    1) tick the ones you want to change and
    2) change the drop-down menu at the bottom of the list to the notification type you require
    3) press go

I notice that recently every post I submit to I am auto subscribed at the moment. I'll also see how to change this.

Edit: If you also need to do this click here

The 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' is best maybe changed to 'Do Not Subscribe'. You can still subscribe to ones you WANT, this will just stop every post you submit to being subscribed also.

Is that what the funny blue tick things I'm seeing in threads I've posted in are?

Yes, there was a glitch which made people automatically subscribe to threads they posted on :rolleyes2

I was originally auto subscribed if I started a thread or if I clicked on thread tools. But somehow this facility had been changed, it said I was subscribed but said next to it for notification "none"
    Thanks for the help all.

Thanks for posting :T . I have the above one as a text only entry (according to Puzzler). Does it state the method of entry in the mag for this one ?

    Hi there

It does state text entry only, but then it allows you to enter the answer online so I'm not sure.

  • Normally CHAT puzzles with prizes have a text only entry on one puzzle despite there being an option available online. I contacted puzzler about it for a previous issue and online entries will not be counted for the text only puzzle. It should state in the magazine what to put (normally 3/4 letters followed by answer then n/a etc). Unfortunately, there are no shops near me that sell this publication so I cannot check.

    Hi Jaffa

    Just checked the magazine...

"It couldn't be easier to enter: text the letters BCP, followed by a space and then the prize answer (Credit), your name, address and telephone number to 80088"

Texts cost 25p plus your standard network operator rates.

    Hope this helps

    Good Luck
