Help - school fayre

I have, today, been asked to have a stall, of my own choice, at the school fayre. This sounds reasonable I hear you say, but its on Saturday!!!
Can you give me some pointers on what I could do, I thought maybe some sweeties in bags like the ones done last christmas (rudolph noses, etc, with a different name, of course)? What do you all think?
Maybe I could do some cookies and choc chip shortbread?
Any ideas accepted/considered - as soon as possible please.
Thanks,

Thank you so much - some fantastic ideas - shall go shopping tomorrow and see what I can pick up from the cheaper shops - I loved the magic fairy drops. They will go down a treat.
I know its cutting it a bit fine being Saturday an all but I want to prove to the school that I CAN do it and CAN manage it and that I'm not a wimp who cant do anything short notice if you get my drift.
Thank you to everyone who replied - it is muchly appreciated.mrs tooti-frooti0 -
Are you expected to pay for all this stuff or can you take your costs from the takings.
Ask friends and neighbours if they could make you a cake or some scones/rock buns. Dont forget to take some plastic bags for them.
Take a float with some change for your first customers.
Where abouts are you in the country. I have 2 big bags of halloween sweets/lollies left overmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I'm in Humberside McKneff, What they have said is that I would pay for the table and supply my own goodies but then everything I make is mine.
I don't know if this is how it usually works, didn't sound bad to me really.mrs tooti-frooti0 -
Popcorn is, apparently, a huge profit-maker. But you would have to factor in the cost of hiring a popcorn machine and you may not have a power supply. But perhaps worth considering.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
