Online Grocery Shopping Question

Sorry but I can't find the answer to this anywhere!

Have never shopped online for groceries with Sainsbury's before - but was going to do so and use the £15 off £75 voucher code.

My question is - what if my original order is for £75 worth of goods, but I don't accept substitutions in my preferences and some items can't be delivered.

Do I still get £15 off what I pay (even though, in the end my goods come to less than £75)?

Same question with regards free delivery when spending over £100. If my original order is over £100 but they deliver goods worth less because of stock - is delivery still free?

You can accept subs and if they aren't suitable then tell the driver you dont want them and want a refund, not that answers your questions though.

If you make the order up and deduct the £15 voucher off the amount and they are unable to deliver some of the items making your order less than the amount required to use the voucher (in this case £75) the voucher will still work fine and you will not lose anything.

This happens to us sometimes, we always make the order around £100 to get the free delivery and never have substitutions, occasionally they can't supply something taking the order below the £100 ceiling but it's still free delivery.

I have to say that Sainsbury's are pretty fair with online grocery deliveries, sometimes I have ordered 2 items on a buy one get one free and they were only able to supply one, when I have compalined they always put things right. Plus the help line is 0800! :)

I work as Sainsburys online driver. Can confirm above, discounts like vouchers off for a set amount of shopping or delivery charges wont change if stock levels effect the order.

To double check, if there is a delivery charge. It be the first item on the recipt. If not there its free delivery. Vouchers are shown near the payment details at the bottom usually in £5 amounts. So two £5 discount if there £10 off etc.
