Check out the BOS website, and the article on graduate accounts on here. As far as i'm aware, it's not all that different to the student account, but you're able to continue your overdraft and slowly pay it off interest free. You're also able to apply for the graduate loan etc.

    Good luck! :D

yeah £700 is cheapest. i would be getting paid while out there, but not enough to kill my overdrafts

Do not go on holiday if you do not have the money... Jesus people expect to live a big life, without anymore. If I have no money, I will not get a loan to go on holiday. Unless the holiday was going to pay for the loan and overdrafts.

If I were you, just get a better job, spend your time searching for a job. And pay as much as you can to pay off your debt. Simple. You went to university to earn £8k? Seems like you wasted 3+ years of your life.

Having a holiday you can't afford and moaning about overdraft costs seems a bit strange to me.

    Burritto,

This may sound pretty obvious, but you need to be looking for extra work now, not planning a holiday. Did you study to work in a bar? Do you have administration skills, can you answer a telephone? If so, go register with office temp agencies. If you are strong, register with the manual work agencies, look at the ones who hire bartenders and waiters for events. You can throw all the money you earn at the debts, and bring them down.

You say you will be getting paid while you are on holiday...? If you are in Europe, so you can use EU status, that's fine. If not, do you have the correct visa for wherever you are going? If you're just starting out, don't add deportation/exclusion to your CV this early by working illegally. If you are going to Europe, then your flights are way too expensive.

    Good luck
