Help with wife's credit record

hi
I went bankrupt a few months ago and will be discharged in september. One of the debts I went bankrupt with was a joint account to the amount of £1500. This has not effected my wifes credit record and she wants to get a mortgage. If she pays it off, how long will it be before it no longer affects her credit rating?

If you have a joint account, your BR will have an affect on your OH ability to obtain credit.

She need to dis-associate herself financially from you completely before she would have a decent chance of success.
