Potential IPA

Hi everyone,
Currently I'm working and hubby is stay at home dad and job hunting.
I currently don't have an IPA.
We know if he gets work that he'll have an IPA for "excess income" and I presume I will stay without an IPA.
What would happen if I then got a payrise? Would I then have an IPA?

If he gets a job, then you could potentially have an IPA as he will be contributing more to the joint household bills so you will be contributing less so will have spare income. If you get a payrise you may have to contribute to an IPA.
When/if he gets a new job/you get a payrise then you will need to submit a new SoA to the OR. You may find that the cost of living has risen since you last submitted one or any number of things may happen.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
