No i think was an agreement over phone i think. But im happy to do it up if we don't then get ripped off. I was thinking of getting a valuation in the current state then Is it possible to get a solicitor to draw up a letter basically saying that from this date / valuation if/when the house is sold any payments made by my partner for the mortgage and loan would be deducted from her share if its ever sold. Plus any repair work and added value?

I doubt anybody would sign away their rights yet remain liable for a debt.

You'd need to check, but if she's moved out and not paying I believe she has far less rights over the property (ie possibly relinquished), but maybe someone more knowledgeable or a solictor could advise.

She wouldnt be as such signing her rights away as its not saying she wouldnt get anything if it was sold she'd get a share of what its valued at now not after my fella has put money into it! Plus she would get the amount he's paying off the mortgage and loan taken off her share ! Why should she get equal when she pays nothing?
