Hiya
I am back to work in 1 week after 9 months off and we are trying to get finances in order and want to if possible cut out £200 per month food budget or find better ways to make use of it. We have a small freezer and a small chest freezer so I have started freezing bread as my parents used to when I was young and I have started taking the skin off bananas and freezing them from my 7 month old for dessert (part defrost and mix with bit of soya milk so kind of like banana ice cream). I also plan on making a few meals to freeze like chilli etc. What I was wondering is if anyone has any tips on how I may be able to save or use the money wisely please share
I use a lot of chicken as hubby loves it and take chicken salad for lunch rather than living on cup a soups all the time! Also as I will be back to work I need to decide what I want for lunch (I could live on cereal as it also helps lose weight
). So I tend to buy asdas own frozen chicken fillets.
Any tips very welcome!!!

For your egg/dairy intolerant baby you could try vegan recipes - here's a site link: http://www.vegansociety.com/lifestyle/food/recipes/baby-and-toddler/
Then add whatever you wish re the meaty items.
Look at the Grocery Challenge thread - lots of ideas and the recipes are posted near the beginning of each month's thread."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0
