:THey everyone, we are in a DMP,and have made a successfull PPI claim against MBNA:j. It wont cover the debt,but will wack off a fair chunk,they are sending a cheque in a couple of weeks,ad it will be in hubby's name,do we tell the CCCS whats happened,or just send them the cheque? To everyone out there doing a PPI claim................... Follow the advice on this site,and you cant go wrong!

I would...
• Deposit the cheque in your account.
• Calculate and 'put to one side' the tax you'll need to pay on the interest.
• Speak to CCCS and explain what's happened - they will usually be able to help you with offering full & finals to the debtors. Otherwise they can portion out the money equally.
With a bit of good luck you may be able to get it all paid off if the debtors are willing to accept low full & final offers.
