    How wise to have deferred your State Pension. I did just this for 3 years and the pot grew by 10.2% pa, which wouldn't be obtained anywhere else.

    I could have taken the additional growth as a lump sum, or the increased pension (which I did). It made a nice addition and the pensions office were happy to keep updating me each year with the figures.
