HSBC 2 Year Discount Special Fee Free

Hi,

Have been looking at an FTB for 90% LTV.

Have approached a broker and searched on Money Facts and the above mortgage seems to be the best to fit all my needs. The broker didnt show this but I believe that HSBC dont go through a broker.

The mortgage is manegable, wife has a bank account with them and had an AIP from them a couple of months ago.

3.84% seems a good rate particulalry on an 10% LTV.

What are people opion on this product?

I appreciate that there have been problems with the conveyancing firms but the house we want has tenants in until the end of September so no massive rush.

Thanks in advance. :)

HSBC are a sound lender. Seems a good rate for a 90% mortgage.

Thanks but are there any negatives that you know about. I am already aware of the countrywide issue

I'm in the process of buying a house (FTB, no chain) and have had this mortgage deal offered to me.

I was offered Pannones, Manchester, as my panel solicitor and so far all has gone smoothly. I think the real test comes when you get closer to when you want to complete, I'll let you know in 3-4 weeks time what the final result is.

There's a multitude of issues when buying and selling property. So I wouldn't let that alone concern you.
