I have recently ran out of a huge roll of clingfilm i brought back from the states and was amazed at the prices in supermarkets!
I thought I would have a look on amazon and i found this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lacor-11330-30CMX300MTS-10u-TRANSPARENT-CLING-FILM/dp/B003B1ZJ2E/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
it looks a decent size roll but only has one review, has anyone tried it

I've never ever used cling film, please may I ask, is it really necessary? I'm thinking of the money saving aspect.0

Cling film has its uses. I only use it for covering the top of the bowl or tin when bread is rising, I've tried all the other suggestions damp cloth, plastic or glass chopping board etc and none of them work as well. I have a Costco version of the above and it's pretty good do bear in mind though that UK cling film is thinner and less sticky than the US ones, as some of the nastier chemicals and plastics used in the US are quite rightly banned here xx0
