    Hi and welcome

Dont worry, it's all manageable. All you need to do is send £1 token payment.

Thank you. I think my husband does not help . I have told him what have I done but he just keep reminding me that now the bailiffs will enter the house and he will have nothing to do with this. That was the reason I have contacted cccs as all my debt is 1825 and I want to pay it off I cannot afford that on one go . I do hope cccs will be able to help as that really worry me . Thank you

Hi suchamess and welcome to the forum,

You did the right thing regarding changing bank accounts etc. The one thing I'd say about any debt, is that companies and debt collectors make threats up to but just short of the point of death etc. I'm not sure about the Bailiffs as I live in NI, but if you search there will be information about them on the forum.

    Good luck

I think your husband needs to try and be a bit more supportive - £2k is not too much to sort out at all and he obviosuly knows nothing of bailiff laws if he thinks they'll be magically knocking on the door.

Your husband plainly does not understand bailiff law or even consumer credit law.

The one thing he does need to understand is that if there is a bailiff at the door, you do not open it.

Have you spoken to student welfare at college/uni. They will have a debt advisor.

Thank you Ras. I have spoken to them and it would take long time to get sorted at Uni. I want to pay it and nOt trying to avoid it. My husband talking more scary me than anything else. I contacted cccs and they processing my papers today so hopefully it would be some kind of relief. I have contacted all payday loans and I am not sure if that is commOn to politely write back in my perspective that my debt management team should contact them and they will try resolve it. It sound to good for them just to agree.
