Barclays Bank Account

Hello Forum!
Although I've not posted for some time I still do check in from time to time - I've not forgotten how helpful the community can be.
I just wanted to offer a small update, whilst I appreciate each BRs circumstances are different it might be of interest:
Background:
I finally reached my patience threshold with the archaic and desperately slow to update online banking offered by the co-op. I took my eye off the ball and forgot to transfer from cash from one cash minder to the other for a DD to meet co-op's "funds cleared the day before" rule and slipped 59p into the red - shameful! Bang £15 charge.
I called and tried to point out that there appeared to be cleared funds the previous day, but apparently the online banking system is a guide not current or upto date... I'm a vote with my feet kind of guy so packed up my BR notice, discharge letter and ID and headed over to Barclays to open a Basic Account.
After they ran their checks I was offered a full current account and overdraft (which I declined) alongside a savings account, and an ISA.
The service was excellent - the advisor had to refer my application and even came on on her day off to finalise the paperwork as it was the only day I was available. So far I'm very impressed.
Barclays were a creditor in my BR too.
