I need some ideas for my husbands 60th birthday present I want to get him something special he's not into parties so that's out someone please help

If he doesn't really WANT something, you would probably be worth going for an 'experience' - drive a train, F1 car etc
Most of these offer something for the family that go to watch, meal etc, so it is something special.
[I certainly don't need him to have more stuff in the house!]0 -
Not sure where you live, but it may worth looking around for a river cruise or even a journey on a steam train.
They usually do a meal/ entertainment as part of the deal and it may work out cheaper than an experience day - quite often the experience only lasts for an hour or two!
I did the steam train journey a couple of years ago...it was combined with a 'murder mystery' evening and was excellent value.Stopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0
