Ideas for gift for 12 year old niece.

I'm looking for ideas for my 12 year old niece, I don't really know what she likes, we don't see her that much and it is a long time since I was 12 so I'm sure tastes have changed!!! Budget is £10 max :-)

My neice is 12 and for Christmas I did her a pamper hamper - face masks, bubble bath, bath confetti, shaped sponge etc. You can pick up lots of nice bits at places like Wilkinsons and could get quite a lot for £10.

Alternatively, you could do a baking hamper. I did this for my neice's birthday I got cheap baking things (apron, bowl, mixing spoon, cake cases, cookie cutters) and added decorating things like sprinkles and writing icing tubes. Then I made a couple of jars with cookie mixes in so she could get baking straight away. There are lots of ideas for cookie mixes online. Oh, I also printed out some easy cake and cookie recipes and made a little folder of them.

Pretty much every child I know enjoys baking and eating cakes and cookies so this should be okay for her too

If you do a baking hamper it is worth looking in Asda's baking aisle as they have a few sneaky reductions and this includes baking mixes and some decorations. (There is a whole thread in food shopping and groceries)
