Creditor received payment late from CCCS, cancelled agreement

Hi everyone,
Not sure if anybody else has ever had a similar problem with CCCS but I've just received a number of strongly worded/threatening letters from Halifax Credit Card collections regarding my arrears. Apparently they received this month's payment (the very first payment of our DMP as it's only recently been set up) 2 days late, which apparently breaks their agreement with CCCS, and as a result the agreement has been cancelled. Not a great start to the DMP and makes me very concerned at how likely it is to happen again in future.
Apparently I now need to contact CCCS, who will then need to set up a new agreement with them. Unfortunately though, despite the CCCS website stating the Telephone Helpline is open on a Saturday, it isn't, so I won't be able to do anything about this until Monday at the earliest. Not impressed with the CCCS at all

Don't worry about it. This happened with me with LLoyds. CCCS wrote and made an agreement and stated they would get paid on the 25th of each month, but Lloyds ignored that and expected payment on the date of the letter (8th). I rang Lloyds to explain and got through to a foreign guy who sounded like he was reading from a script and would not take my explanation. In the end I phoned CCCS and they said they would resend the agreement. So long as they have been paid it will get sorted. I have read on here it takes a few months for everything to run smoothly.0

Got the same cr&p from Barclaycard. They wanted a payment date of 12th, CCCS do it on 25th blah blah blah. I just ignored them. It will settle soon.DFW Nerd no: 149
