Is this worth it? I was on the website looking at comps and there is a bit about joining for £39.90 for a year and you get loads of discounts etc.

Im not sure if the link will work as Ive never done one. You get a free gift worth £28 when you join too. Is it worth buying or ignoring? Anyone in it?

They had a stall outside my local co-op the other day. I chatted to the lady for ages, I decided it wouldn't be worth it as the only thing I would benefit from was the car insurance thing where they guaranteed to be £30 cheaper or something, but the rest, well...
I use Quidco for cashback when buying stuff (they have a similar service)
There were a lot of holiday offers but I have 3 young children so that was a no...
A lot of things that would appeal to 50+ ladies with more leisure time and no children
So for me, it was a no. But maybe if you would use the holiday offers and other bits it may be. However I tend to think, especially for those of use who are MSE inclined, we can find good deals ourselves rather than pay £40 a year for them. These companies MAKE MONEY remember, mostly from people who subscribe and then never use it.
They did offer a money back guarantee if you don't save money with it, so maybe you could try it, apparently their magazine and free gifts are quite good, but you only get them if you sign up on the street not online I think.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

i've noticed that you can get the magazine for just £11.50 with tesco vouchers.
it's quite a good offer, considering how many giveaways Candis offer. check out Tesco's website for more details:

I already subscribe, but as the offer is new members only, you can get this offer for friends / relatives birthdays so not a bad gift idea. :j0
